The Art of Photography Show 2010 is a world-class international exhibition of photographic art. This year’s event runs August 28 – November 7, 2010 at the Lyceum Theatre Gallery in San Diego.

One of the distinguishing characteristics of this competition and exhibition is that our judge is always a highly acclaimed museum curator or director. The 2009 competition surpassed our expectations, attracting entries from 57 countries.

The San Diego Fine Art Society’s ArtPulse.TV and Phoebe Chongchua talk with the founders about the event and it’s phenomenal photographic exhibit.

The Artist Mentor Program is designed for artists to uncover their dreams and discover what is blocking them from success, to understand where their art falls among their peers in the marketplace, to bond with fellow artists in weekly studio sessions, and to help artists move ahead with focused tasks that get them closer to their goals.

According to Jon Vencil, evaluation consultant for Nonprofit Management Solutions, there is no comparable program like it in the country. After following the Program for the first three months, Vencil concluded that it has the potential to set the standard for mentor-based art programs in the country.
